Performance Data
We are very proud of the achievements of our children and the progress they make during their time with us. As a small village school, we offer a calm, caring and nurturing environment where children are known and valued as individuals. This is one of the reasons many families choose our school, particularly those looking for a setting where children feel secure, supported and able to thrive.
As a small school, year-group cohorts are very small and therefore published percentages can fluctuate significantly from year to year. The outcomes of one or two pupils can have a notable impact on overall published data and may not always reflect the full picture of pupils’ achievement across the school.
We monitor pupils’ progress carefully and use a range of evidence, including assessment information, work in pupils’ books and their readiness for the next stage of education, to evaluate the impact of our curriculum. Our focus is on ensuring that every child achieves well from their starting points, receives the support and challenge they need, and develops the knowledge, confidence, independence and skills required for future success.
While published results provide one measure of school performance, they sit alongside the wider evidence of pupils’ learning, personal development and progress over time. We remain committed to securing the best possible outcomes for every child.
